The Four Pillars of NLP
The Four Pillars of NLP
Rapport
This is all about how you build relationships with other people and with yourself.
If you are a focused, happy, content and healthy person then the level of rapport you have with yourself really should be excellent.
You will also need to be ‘in rapport’ with other people too if you are going to be building a fantastic future for yourself.
Outcome Thinking
What do you want? What goals do you have? What do you want to achieve today?
The question to constantly ask yourself in any kind of situation is what is my desired outcome?
Another way to look at this is quite simply if you don’t know what your desired outcome is then you must be prepared to settle for what everyone else wants. Your results in both your personal and business life will be haphazard and random.
Sensory Awareness
Our hectic lifestyles can often take away our enjoyment of all there is around us. And yet if we take the time to take notice of our senses our experience of this world can become a lot richer. Better still, as well as enjoying the world, through your senses you can begin to benefit from your sensory experiences.
Behavioural Flexibility
So you have a goal, and no matter what you do you can’t get to hit your target. Change your approach. Change what you do. Be flexible with your actions and behaviour. Do something different.
Know what results you are getting, know what you need to do to get what you want.
