What is NLP?

Neuro Linguistic Programming

Whoever you are and whatever you are you can use NLP to achieve excellence in your life.

Neuro refers to your nervous system. N L P is based on the idea that you experience the world you live in through your five senses, what you experience goes to your brain via;

Your visual sense – Seeing

Your auditory sense – Hearing

Your kinaesthetic sense – Touch

Your olfactory sense – Smell

Your gustatory sense – Taste

You use your senses to translate and store information into thoughts (Both conscious and unconscious) Your thought process activates your nervous system, this then effects how you behave, what your emotions are and how you use your physiology.

N L P is about having an understanding of ‘how’ and ‘why' you translate your sensory experiences.

Linguistic refers to how you use language to communicate and make sense of the world. The words you use can influence your world. Your thoughts, words and actions, both verbal and non-verbal are the way in which you communicate and express yourself both internally (thoughts) and externally (to others)

Programming. The way in which you store information effects how you behave and respond. N L P looks at ‘how’ and ‘why’ you store information and then shows you how to change and evaluate this information and produce more desirable results in you life.

Also known as; Neuro Lingustic, Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy.

You will often see Hypnosis and N L P working side by side
